Coach Sedler Is Running The Boston Marathon
In less than 2 weeks, I will be running the Boston Marathon. As part of my run, I am raising money to build a well for a school in Kenya with H2O for Life, an organization that provides water sanitation for schools around the world. Simley has partnered with them for many years. If you are interested in supporting my run, consider giving $1 or $2 per mile for the 26.2 miles...the equivalent of how far some students have to walk in one week to get water. Check out the links below to find out how to get involved.

Greetings to all:
Well, the cross country season has come to an end. Congratulations to everyone who survived the last 11 weeks. Make no mistake, this season was a great success, and I am so proud of this team. One last time I want to thank everyone involved in our program, for not only last week, but for the entire season, but I especially want to thank my assistant Coach Sedler for stepping in last Thursday, and leading the team at Sections, as I was unable to attend the meet due to family obligations. Wrapping up the season our boy's mile leader for the season is Timothy Wilmot with 214 miles ran. Our girl's mile leader was Emma Raab with 196 miles ran. Congratulations to you two! I also want to congratulate Ebeneezer Ojo and Harris Anderson for reaching 200 miles this season!
Last week at the Section 3AA race our fastest boy was Ryan Berg with a time of 19:04 in the 5k race. Our girl's fastest runner was Emma Raab with a time of 17:19 in the 4k race. Great job you two!
A couple of things to note:The end of the year banquet is Tuesday, November 11 at 6:00pm in the high school cafeteria. If there are any questions pertaining to this please contact me, but the information is listed on our website. Also, to any runners who have not yet turned your uniforms please do so by the banquet.
Thank you for a great season and I look forward to seeing everyone at the banquet. Simley Pride!

Since the team does not do any fundraising, we are asking each parent for a donation. A suggested donation is $20 (or any amount you see fit).
Donations can be given to Karen Myers, booster club treasurer, either in person or by mail to 9253 Cheney Trail, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076. Please make checks out to "Simley CC Booster Club".
